Where to stay in Stockholm

At Slow Travel Stockholm, we encourage visitors to stay in the city as long as possible, in order to better enjoy its charms.
We prefer to promote apartments, boats, hostels, villas, and bed & breakfasts which are independently run and which we believe provide visitors with a closer connection to the city, and to local culture and businesses.
Apartments and boat hotels are still a great (and often cheaper) option for a weekend of course, but even better for those looking at a week-long stay or even longer durations of up to a month.
