For anyone passionate about the beauty industry, Stockholm Beauty Week is a three-day long event filled with presentations, workshops, samples and viewings of the latest natural beauty, hair, skin, health and wellness products.

What I enjoyed the most was having the opportunity to meet the people behind the products. From founders and scientists to brand representatives whose knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for their products were very inspiring.

Here’s a behind the scenes photo essay that takes you through closing preparations for the Beauty Show.

The Beauty Show

Stockholm Beauty Week closed off with a big bang at a beauty Show showcasing what Swedish talents have got to offer. The amazing hair styling by Björn Axén, makeup by Idun Minerals, dresses by Jennifer Blom and the models by Stockholm Beauty Week and Le Noir Modeling Agency.

The third floor at Konstnärshuset was an open backstage. Hair stylist Sofia Gedeby and hair/makeup artist Diana Tillström, along with Peter Hägelstam, in the picture, led their team from Björn Axén to demonstrate how hair and makeup are done.

Peter Hägelstam, Creative Director and partner of Björn Axen, leads the team in hairstyling the models before the Beauty Show.

Now that hair and make up are set and the beautiful dresses by Jennifer Blom are on, the show is ready to go!
